Our Services

Waterproofing services for terraces, roofs, wet areas and below-ground structures

Each service below is selected after a site assessment, because the right system depends on the substrate, the exposure and the source of the water entry. Availability for a specific service is confirmed before work is scheduled.

Service 01

Terrace Waterproofing

Exposed terraces take the full force of rain, sunlight and standing water. Waterproofing a terrace is not a single product — it is a prepared surface, correctly detailed joints and a system suited to that exposure.

Typical scope

  • Inspection of the slab, screed, joints, drains and any services routed over the terrace
  • Removal of failed or ponding areas and preparation of the sound substrate
  • Treatment of joints, cracks and upstands before the waterproofing layer is applied
  • Application of the specified system in the coats and coverage specified by the manufacturer
  • Protection screed, tiles or a finish coat where the terrace is used or accessed

Repairs are quoted after the terrace has been inspected, because the cost of preparation can differ widely between terraces.

Service 02

Roof Waterproofing

Roof leaks often appear far from their cause. A cracked or open joint on an upper deck, a blocked gutter or a damaged waterproofing layer can all show up as a stain on the floor below.

Typical scope

  • Leak investigation from the roof and from the affected area below
  • Condition assessment of the existing waterproofing layer and covering
  • Repair of local failures and re-application of the specified system where required
  • Detailing of edges, ridges, parapets, gutters and outlets
  • Protection and finishing works as agreed in the written scope

Where the source of the leak is a service, tank or drainage line above, that element is addressed first.

Tiled bathroom wet zone with shower area prepared for waterproofing
Service 03

Bathroom Waterproofing

Bathrooms are the most common source of leakage into the flat below. The wet zone needs a continuous waterproof layer, correctly detailed corners and joints, and a finished surface bonded to it.

Typical scope

  • Removal of old finishes where the specification requires it
  • Preparation and cleaning of the floor and wet-zone walls
  • Treatment of corners, joints, pipe penetrations and the floor-to-wall junction
  • Application of the selected system in the specified coats
  • Bond coat, screed and tiling completed after the system has cured as specified

Waterproofing over existing tiles is possible in some cases, subject to the tile and screed condition and the product approved for that application.

Construction worker treating an external brick wall surface of a residential building
Service 04

Exterior Wall Waterproofing

Rain striking an exposed façade will find weak points — open joints, cracked render, around openings and at parapets. Treating the external surface protects the wall and the interiors behind it.

Typical scope

  • Inspection of the external surface, openings, joints and problem areas
  • Repair of cracks, render and mortar joints before coating
  • Application of a suitable external waterproofing or protective coating system
  • Detailing around windows, doors, chajjas, balconies and parapets
  • Finishes or coatings selected for the exposure and appearance required

External treatment does not resolve dampness caused by internal plumbing leaks, condensation or structural movement — the source is identified first.

Below-grade concrete basement walls and structural columns in a parking area
Service 05

Basement Waterproofing

Below-ground areas experience water pressure from the surrounding soil and any groundwater present. The approach depends on the water table, the drainage arrangements and the condition of the structure.

Typical scope

  • Investigation of joints, wall-to-floor junctions, cracks and drainage paths
  • Selection between external tanking, internal coatings, crystalline treatments or a combination
  • Joint and crack sealing using suitable sealants and grouts
  • Surface preparation and application of the specified coatings to walls and floor
  • Advice on drainage, pumping and backfill considerations where relevant

Groundwater conditions vary by location, so the system is chosen after the site has been assessed rather than by default.

Exposed concrete podium slab above an empty parking garage
Service 06

Podium Waterproofing

A podium slab is a large exposed deck sitting over parking or occupied floors. Water that enters the slab shows up below as seepage and staining, often while the source looks dry.

Typical scope

  • Survey of the podium deck, expansion joints, drainage outlets and edges
  • Repair of damaged slab areas and treatment of joints and cracks
  • Application of a waterproofing system suited to the exposure and the traffic loading above
  • Protection screed, paving or a finish suited to the intended use of the podium
  • Coordination with waterproofing of planters, ramp areas and drainage points

Because a podium is usually occupied or used below, the scope includes protecting the area below during the work.

Swimming pool construction with concrete deck and waterproofing preparation work
Service 07

Swimming Pool Waterproofing

Pools and tanks are continuously in contact with water, so the waterproof layer has to be continuous, well detailed around fittings and able to withstand movement at joints.

Typical scope

  • Assessment of the tank structure, surfaces, joints and existing coatings
  • Preparation and repair of the substrate, including cracks and honeycombing
  • Detailing around drains, sumps, channels, returns and fittings
  • Application of a waterproofing system approved for the intended use and exposure
  • Protection layers, tiling and finishing as specified

For pools under construction, the system is applied before the finishes are laid.

Industrial factory floor prepared for a protective epoxy coating system
Service 08

Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy floor systems are a surface protection and finish solution. They are selected for the traffic, the substrate condition and the environment, and they depend heavily on correct preparation.

Typical scope

  • Assessment of the substrate, its strength, moisture level and existing coating
  • Grinding, shot blasting or other preparation to the required profile
  • Repair of cracks, joints and damaged areas before coating
  • Primer, build and finishing coats applied to the specified thickness
  • Cove detailing, line marking or anti-slip aggregate where specified

Coating performance depends on preparation and on the system selected for the specific floor and environment.
