Terms and Conditions

1. Scope of work
Waterproofing work is carried out according to the written scope agreed with the client. The scope identifies the area treated, the system to be applied, the preparation required, the finishes included and any exclusions. Work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.
2. Site conditions
Waterproofing performance depends on the substrate, the source of water entry, the preparation carried out and the conditions at the time of application. We inspect affected areas before recommending a system and record our observations in the scope.
3. Quotations and pricing
Quotations are prepared after an inspection and are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise, and exclude any work identified as an exclusion in the scope.
4. Payment
Payment terms, including any advance and stage payments, are set out in the quotation and invoice. Terms for credit or extended payment are to be confirmed before publication.
5. Curing and access
Waterproofing systems require curing time before finishes are applied and before the area is exposed to water. Access for other trades and for the client during the work is to be agreed in advance.
6. Warranty
Any warranty applies only to the work described in the written scope, for the period and conditions stated in that scope, and assumes the specified preparation, materials and maintenance have been followed. Warranty terms are provided in writing for each project.
7. Limitations
No statement on this website is a guarantee of a specific outcome. Statements about services, materials and durations are general and depend on site conditions, which are assessed individually.
8. Intellectual property
The Buildcare name, logo, page content and design of this website are the property of Buildcare Waterproofing Solutions and may not be reproduced without written permission. Third-party images used as design placeholders are credited in the project documentation and must be replaced with Buildcare-owned photography before publication.
